Mary Rutan Foundation Awards Scholarships

Through the generous gifts of individual contributors, bequests, and memorial donations to Mary Rutan Foundation’s annual scholarship program, Mary Rutan Foundation provides support to local students, to aid them in achieving their academic goals of becoming a medical professional.

Since 1992, the Mary Rutan Foundation has awarded over $2.35 million to local scholars. These funds have supported the education of more than 1,140 current and future healthcare workers.

Mary Rutan Foundation Chief Operating Officer Tammy Allison said, “With the demand for healthcare workers in Ohio and the nation, Mary Rutan Foundation’s commitment and investment to individuals pursuing a degree in the medical field is more important now than ever. These forty students will provide some aid in this shortage and will impact patients, communities, and the future of healthcare as they successfully reach their academic goals and enter the healthcare workforce.”
